During Warrick’s junior campaign, he helped the Hawks upset No. Joseph’s, where he closed his career with 1,273 points and 181 steals (ninth all-time in school history). He also earned Most Valuable Player honors in the inaugural New Jersey Coaches Association All-Star Game at Rutgers, scoring 22 points. Warrick averaged 15.3 points his senior season with the Falcons and was a Second Team All-South Jersey selection. ![]() Because of that, he pursued a future on the hardwood. Warrick garnered interest from Penn State, Michigan and UCLA as a defensive back, but not as a signal caller. Football was Warrick’s best sport, and he quarterbacked Burlington Township to its only two sectional championships, leading the team to back-to-back undefeated seasons in 19 (he was Second Team All-South Jersey that year too).
